Figure Tank Commander (COND-03A) not included The captured T-26 tanks, in Nationalist service were more popularly called “Vickers” . By October 1937, the Nationalist forces had captured ten intact T-26’s and many more damaged examples that could be cannibalized for parts. There were enough intact tanks captured that each PzKpfw 1 company had a single T-26 for fire support. In order to prevent their misidentification as Republican tanks, they were prominently marked with the red, yellow and red flag colours of Franco’s forces, and usually had the turret roof painted in white with a St. Andrew’s cross for air identification.
