Coming in "June 07"
Somewhere in Normandy...
Now just as May saw the release of new German reinforcement, June sees a raft of more great World War Two releases – here come the Americans! 2 tributes, the Combat Photographer - a special “tribute” piece to Joe Rosenthal (the AP photographer who took the famous Iwo Jima photograph), and the War Correspondent seated at his typewriter Ernie Pyle who wrote the classic “The Story of G.I. Joe”, plus a Patrol Jeep, a big baby the M12 155mm Gun Motor Carriage, and finally the guys of the 82nd Airborne and those of the 101st. Airborne.
So back in war-torn Normandy the Yanks have arrived! A whole big bunch of them…

And now here’s a whole bunch of GI’s… a mixture 82nd and 101st. Glider troops… all in action… and available as individual figures…

The Generals

DD079
“General Omar Bradley”
The GI’s General and one of Eisenhower’s most steady and reliable field commanders. Bradley commanded the US 1st Army Group during and after the Normandy invasion… here he stands, hands on hips, in a typical pose. |

DD080
“General James Gavin 82nd Airborne”
The youngest divisional commander in the U.S. Army during WW2. Gavin was only 37 at the time of the Normandy and “Market Garden” jumps. Here, he is in parade dress, saluting. |
AVAILABILITY: MID JUNE
And now for something completely different… as Monty Python would say! “Coldstream Guards in Action”.
Here is K&C’s first English Napoleonic Regiment—the world famous 2nd. Regiment of Foot Guards… The Coldstream Guards. One of the most famous Regiments of the British Army up to this present day, the “Coldstreamers” fought throughout the Wars of Napoleon and at Waterloo in 1815.
Here, we have twelve (12) outstanding individual figures that singly, together or in “multiples” will take “pride-of-place” in any Napoleonic collection. K&C has specifically designed these pieces so that they can form up a traditional “British Square” to repel an enemy Cavalry assault.

AVAILABILITY: MID JUNE
As usual, we also have additional figures to add to one of K&C Chinese series.
The Imperial Collection - “Spear or sword Practice”

On the Streets of Old Hong Kong- “Tai Chi Too”

Also, New Releases from John Jenkins for June 2007
Great news, the new sets for June will be the first of the French Regulars for the Quebec Series. This will be the Regiment de La Sarre, which lined up against the British 47th Regiment of foot at the Battle of the Plains of Abraham.
The Regiment de La Sarre is one of the slightly more colourful French regiments, as they had red waistcoats with blue collars and cuffs. The forage cap or Pokalem was made from material from old waistcoats, and was commonly worn instead of the tricorn. The poses are marching, as the French tactic was mainly to advance in column.
There will be some additional wounded sets for The Regiment de La Sarre. Firing line poses will be added at a later date, with the future release of some new Franches de Marine figures. These could also be used for the Monongahela series.
These are all limited to 750 sets except the drummer boy which is not limited because it is suitable for any French regiment.
