This was one of the regiments sent to America to take part in the French and Indian Wars. September 12, 1759 the battle of Quebec, the regiment is on the right wing and suffered great loses. Lieutenant-colonel Mr. de Sennezergues was lost. Montreal capitulates on the 17th and French troops withdraw from New France. The regiment La Sarre was brought back to France.
